Bass Point Realty

Mike Glowacki, a third generation islander, is known to all around the island for his business savvy and long-time civic service.

Over the past four decades, Mike has owned and operated a series of businesses ranging from the landscape company he took over from his grandfather and father—Albert Glowacki Landscape, now J&M Landscape Services—to the two businesses owned by his late brother, Gary — Nantucket Marine and Outdoor Power Equipment.

His deep involvement in the local economy eventually led him into local government where he chaired the Nantucket Conservation Commission for many years, was named commissioner of the year by the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions in 2004, and subsequently chaired the Nantucket Board of Selectmen, as they updated the town’s fiscal and budgeting processes.

Mike’s unique knowledge of the island, its economy, its people and its land, along with his skills as a businessman and a negotiator now culminate in the founding of Bass Point Realty. He looks forward to earning your trust through informed and dedicated representation.
